The Emporia Americas Best Value Inn is a great stopover location, particularly for northern snowbirds. We're easily accessible via either I-35 or the Kansas Turnpike. From I-35, take Exit 128, South to Highway 50, then Right 1 block to the Inn. From the KS Turnpike, take either Exit 127 or 127B. Our Inn offers 46 comfortably appointed rooms in a two-story building with interior corridors. Our Inn recently received an "A" grade on its most recent Quality Assurance inspection by Americas Best Value Inn, the highest grade awarded by the chain.

Emporia is known as the "Front Porch to the Flint Hills." The five million acres of grassland called the Flint Hills comprise the largest unbroken tract of tallgrass prairie left in North America. Covered with native bluestem grasses and colorful wildflowers, the Flint Hills region is considered by many to offer the world's best grazing land. Emporia is home of Emporia State University and Flint Hills Technical College. The National Teachers Hall of Fame is also located in Emporia, and the moving Induction ceremony is held each June.
